Katmai Sky Lodge is an owner-operated, all-inclusive fly-out adventure lodge located in the heart of Katmai National Park. We specialize in intimate bear and wildlife viewing experiences that connect you with the raw beauty, rhythm, and wonder of the Alaskan wilderness.
After two seasons of building the lodge entirely by hand, we’re proud to open for our first full operational season in 2026. With a maximum of six guests at a time, every stay is personal, peaceful, and unforgettable.
With over 75 years of combined hospitality and guiding experience, our small team believes that true adventure lies in the details—from thoughtful meals to flexible daily schedules designed around weather, wildlife, and each guest’s goals.

Katmai Sky Lodge is located on private property just minutes southwest of Brooks Lake, providing prime access to some of the best bear viewing opportunities in the world. Brooks Falls is only a few minutes away by flight, and we also have access to several smaller creeks and rivers that offer truly unique bear viewing and photography experiences.
AUGUST 2025 - Seven Night Stays
Our prime location within Katmai National Park, combined with our ability to fly to nearby fishing spots and our unmatched flexibility, allows us to take advantage of peak fishing times across the various rivers in the area.
